Natural and Safe Alternatives for Shampoo, Conditioner, and Toothpaste

Shampoo: Apply baking soda to wet hair. Massage and rinse.

Conditioner: Spray/pour vinegar to washed hair. Rinse, if desired. Once the vinegar dries, it will leave no smell behind.

Toothpaste: Mix equal parts baking soda and coconut oil and stir. Use a small spoon to apply a small dot of the mixture to your wet toothbrush and brush your teeth, as usual.

Other uses of vinegar
To clean burned pots: Boil 1/2 c vinegar and 1 liter water in a covered pot. Scrub as needed.
To neutralize wasp stings: spray/submerge the bitten spot in vinegar to neutralize the poison.
To clean floors: Add 1/4 c vinegar to a bucket of water and mop. The vinegar smell will disapear once dried.
To keep ants away: Wipe tables and counters with vinegar to keep ants away since they don’t like the smell.
To stop itchiness from bug bites: Dab a little on.

Other uses of baking soda
To neutralize bee stings: Add water to baking soda to form a paste and apply to the sting site to neutralize the venom.

To scrub tough gunk off of pots and pans and dishes: Dust on and scrub. Rinse with water.
To unclog drains: Pour 1/2 c baking soda down the drain, followed by 1/2 c of vinegar. Wait 10 minutes and pour a pot of boiling water. Repeat, if necessary.
To clean sinks and toilets. Dust it on and scrub. Rinse with water.
